By MICHAEL FALCONE | Staff ReporterVenice, France — (BUSINESS WIRE)– A new film festival will bring together the world’s leading filmmakers, actors, producers, and directors to showcase their work in front of an audience of millions of film lovers in Cannes, France.
This year’s event, The World Premiere of Cannes, is scheduled for May 26-29, 2019.
The World Premiere is a celebration of the films that have the potential to be the next big blockbuster and will showcase the works of the best filmmakers, artists, and artists working in the industry today.
This is not a film festival or an exhibition, it is a festival of the mind and the mind is the future.
The World Producers Association, the governing body of the Cannes International Film Festival, has set a schedule for the festival, including screenings of the likes of Zoolander 2, The Revenant, and the upcoming biopic of the late musician Tom Petty.
The first World Premiere was held in Cannes in 1997 and it has become one of the most sought-after film festivals in the world, attracting nearly 40,000 people each year.
It is also home to the world premiere of the film of the same name by the French filmmaker Guillermo del Toro.
The festival has also hosted film festivals for international films including Cannes Film, Cannes International Documentary Film Festival and Cannes Film and TV Festival.
The world premiere event of the World Premiere will take place at the Sotheby’s auction house in New York City from May 26 through May 29, 2019, and is expected to draw close to 5 million dollars in revenue.
It has been the main event for the Cannes film festival since the festival opened in 1992.
The event, which will include two stages of films, has attracted nearly $20 million dollars worth of revenue for the International Film Industry Association (IFIA) since its inception in 1991.
This revenue is a direct result of the festival’s focus on film, not only on film festivals but also on the film industry in general, the IFA said.
