With the deepwater horizons’ second season set to debut on Netflix in February, we’ve been asking the same question every single week for the past few months.
And it’s only getting more pressing with every passing week.
How can we get our film and TV productions to be the biggest hits of 2017?
Well, that’s where we come in.
To help get your production on track for the new year, we’re rolling out an exclusive feature-length documentary series to help you get the scoop on what’s in store for you and your production.
This is a special treat for the folks at The New York Times, and we’re proud to bring you the first installment of the series, titled “Deepwater Horizon.”
This feature-packed documentary will be released on Netflix on January 30, 2018.
And we’re thrilled to bring it to you, along with the rest of the film series.
As we’re only getting a little bit of the first season of the deepsea documentary series, you may be wondering why we’re bringing it to Netflix at all.
Well, this feature-sized film is a collaboration between The New Yorker and Sundance Channel, the production arm of Netflix.
The New Yorkers’ film crew, the “Tropic of Capricorn,” is working with Sundance’s production team to tell the story of a film crew trapped in a remote Antarctic ice cap.
It’s been a wild and difficult season for the crew, with no reliable news of what they’ve been doing for the last several weeks, leaving them stranded in a frozen wasteland of Antarctic ice and icecaps.
The film crew and the Sundance crew were able to come together in order to tell a story that would bring hope to the crew.
The story of this film crew is told from the perspective of the crew themselves, and it’s a story you can’t miss.
Each week, we’ll be publishing the story behind the film, and each week, the crew will be sharing their story with the world via their Twitter account @DeepwaterHorizons.
The crew members will share their personal stories about what they did and what they learned during their time stranded on the ice.
The footage and interviews will be posted on The New Zealand Times’ website, and you can watch them on Netflix and elsewhere.
To celebrate this special project, we thought we’d offer you the opportunity to get in on the action, too.
We’ll be sending out a special Netflix promo code for one of the episodes of the documentary series.
The promo code will allow you to get a copy of the feature-laden documentary series in its entirety for the price of a DVD, and the promo code can be redeemed at the Netflix store.
